The first annual Surfin’ Santa’s Christmas in July 5k and Holiday Stroll is in the books.
Almost 200 runners and walkers signed up, dozens of golf carts participated in the Christmas in July Golf Cart Parade, the holiday market was bustling with good cheer, and everyone had a great time.
All in all, we raised over $2,500 for Swim Across the Sound.
It was too much fun not to try it again so circle Sunday July 28, 2024, for the second Surfin’ Santa’s Christmas in July 5k and Holiday Stroll.

The second annual Surfin' Santa's 5K and Holiday Stroll is a 5k race/walk supporting the 2024 St Vincent’s Swim Across The Sound. The race/walk course hugs the beautiful shoreline in Lordship CT on Sunday July 28th 2024 at the Stratford Seawall.

2024 Fundraiser Recipient: St Vincent’s Swim Across The Sound
Each Summer, swimmers cross the Long Island Sound from Port Jefferson to Captain’s Cove Seaport in Bridgeport. The Swim raises approximately $250,000 to support oncology programs and provide financial assistance to St Vincent’s cancer patients and families so they can focus on their health and healing.

Help us celebrate Christmas in July with our first annual Golf Cart Parade. Decorate your golf cart in festive holiday decorations (or don’t) and arrive at the seawall muster site at 9:45 for a 10am kickoff. The parade route travels to the lighthouse and back. All participants receive a limited-edition Christmas in July decal for their cart, a complimentary can of Lordship Lager, and some other stuff we haven’t thought of yet. The event is free to all registered gold carts in Lordship.
